Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to support a large-scale capital project team. This role helps improve how critical capital programs are planned and delivered, leading business process improvements, strengthening governance, and building consistency across teams. Working with stakeholders across the organization, you will identify opportunities for improvement, facilitate discussions that drive alignment, and develop practical business solutions that improve efficiency and support long-term operational success. Responsibilities
- Lead business process improvement and transformation initiatives across Capital Programs.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements, align priorities, and develop practical solutions.
- Analyze existing business processes and design future-state workflows that improve efficiency and consistency.
- Develop governance frameworks, business standards, standard operating procedures, and supporting documentation.
- Build process maps and maintain clear business documentation to support ongoing operations.
- Partner with program leaders and cross-functional teams to implement sustainable business improvements.
- Support organizational change through communications, training, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Present recommendations and project updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Use data and business insights to identify improvement opportunities and support decision making.
- Drive action by influencing stakeholders across multiple business groups without direct authority.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen program delivery and operational performance.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading business process improvement or business transformation initiatives.
- Strong business process mapping, documentation, and SOP development skills.
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops and engage diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience working across multiple business functions and building consensus.
- Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level presentation skills.
- Ability to influence decisions and drive progress in complex organizational environments.
- Comfortable creating structure and clarity within ambiguous or evolving situations.
- Experience developing governance models, business standards, and operating procedures.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and relationship management skills.
- Experience within utilities, capital programs, or infrastructure projects is considered an asset.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification is an asset.
- Exposure to Power BI, reporting tools, or business analytics is an asset.
- Experience supporting organizational change management initiatives is an asset.
Remuneration
- $80/hr target rate
- Remote / Hybrid work available
