Procurement and Contracts Manager - Capital Projects

Horizon Recruitment Inc.  has an immediate need for a  Procurement and Contracts Manager with a large organization located in Vancouver BC. Our client requires a leader to continue building the procurement function and develop new policy and processes while also managing sourcing and contracts for a diverse portfolio of capital projects.

This role requires a leader who can work collaboratively to take the sourcing function to the next level who has proven capital construction experience within a complex environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of construction and engineering vendors and provide premium service to a broad range of internal clients.
• Provide leadership and structure capital construction program.
• Provide oversight and guidance through change management acting as a project manager on sourcing and execution initiatives.
• Manage all vendor sourcing processes for capital infrastructure projects including engineering environmental, construction and major equipment contracts.

Requirements:

• Proven leadership and team building success within a large-scale project setting.
• Strong procurement and contract management experience. Ideally from a complex infrastructure environment
• Excellent communication ability.
• Experience managing compliance and risk management strategies
• University level degree in Business or Supply chain along with MBA or SCMP designations.
• Advanced Excel and Power point skills.

Rewards:

• $110-$120k base salary + Bonus
